Can we win the title??????

No will be the easy answer by all except Arsenal fans, maybe will be the rationalists and of course will be the eternal optimists.

21 games on we are now into the so called business end of the season and it is the time when the men will be found out from the boys.

So who are the men or say I Need Bride which is the team that looks likely to win the league in may?

Arsenal, City, Chelsea and liverpool are at the moment the top 4 teams with Everton just a point behind their “friendly” neighbours.

Can we rule out Spurs/United/newcastle at the moment or shall we say well you never know, at the moment lets see who has the best chance among the top 4.

Oil Sheikhs-  favourites, of course, 99 goals already, scoring as if its a practice game, everything seems so rosy for those beasts. Well if only winning was so easy, the defence still has issues, playing under pressure seem to have them cracking, champions league tie against barca will it be a distraction or will they win and progress? what do they value more? league, champions league, both????? What if barca beat them bad? what will be the reaction? crumble or regroup and go full tilt??? A club where you need to win everything you play for may have its repercussions.Time shall tell but definite favourites to win the league as of now.

Happy one’s sad team- which team in this world sells it player for 3 million and then buy him back for 22 million later? oh its the happy team, yeahhhhhhhhh, they like to keep everyone happy.Yet the fact is mou and his men are just gathering steam when it really matters. His strikers are scoring, Eden PSG bound Hazard is scoring left, right and centre and with the 50 million dud scoring as well, Mou maybe really the happy smiling one end of the season. He knows how to win, will he do it one more time?? games against fellow title challengers maybe key.

Suarez Fc- no its not a new team its otherwise called Liverpool Fc.  One man who is at the peak of his powers, even after missing 6 games at the start of the season still the top scorer by a country mile, Luis Suarez is already the PFA player of the year. He along with a rejuvenated Connor Henderson and that robotic Sturridge seem to be driving the kops crazy and dreaming of the improbable. The dream will burst for without Luis, this is an ordinary pool team who borders on mediocre when it comes to defending. Yet they very well can influence where the league title will go to for they play against all the real contenders. Liverpool can win the title, the way to do it, Luis gets even better than what he is currently, it is possible, he can do it. BTW, not playing in any other european tournament will help them immensely.

The Arsenal- the league leaders are given no hope by the rest of the world and the pundits. Well they dont seem to care for they are defying all and sundry. Will they crumble? will the injuries take its toll? can they manage to get above the ridiculous fixture list that they will face in the next 2 months? will not signing anyone in jan hamper( they just may sign but unlikely) their title run??? time shall tell. The gunners though have a first team which is as good as anyone, a bench strength much better than the last few seasons but inferior to the likes of city and chelsea and have a steely resolve that is dumbfounding the critics. yet feb and march will be hard, champions league against bayern maybe a water shed moment again, FA cup run in can take its toll, everyone seems to believe the run will be over come march, can they defy all odds? The key to winning the league may just lie in winning all their games against the mid lower teams and ensuring limited damage against the bigger teams. Can they do it? well if anyone can this team can.

Conclusion- City’s title to lose, chelsea to grab it from them but both may just be wiping their tears if The Arsenal can sustain in feb and march.

Regards

Vinay
